The World Needs You Now

For those who are led by the Spirit of God
are sons of God.

Romans 8:14

What do you even say about Pentecost? How can I adequately write about one of the greatest moments in the Church? One of the most pivotal moments in what Christianity is today?

The thing that strikes me most about Pentecost is that after the people were filled with the Holy Spirit, physically, nothing changed. The trees were still green and brown, they probably had the same food, same daily routines of tasks that needed to get done. However, everything was different. Being filled with the Holy Spirit causes you to look at your life, your world, and your routine in a completely different light. Now, every little action and reaction can be steeped with the Holy Spirit OOZING out of you. Every word you choose to use can have the power of conversion or desolation. No big deal, right?

Yet, a lot of us walk around the world as if nothing has changed. Holiness is not just a side option you can choose from when you feel like, but it’s a call to all people. When you experience a personal Pentecost, you are given the tools to become the saint not only the world needs, but what you were created to be. And once filled with the Holy Spirit, you are strengthened even more in your unique gifts and talents given to only you specifically for the building up of the Kingdom of God here on earth.

Friends, now is the time to start living out your Pentecost; to truly give freedom for the Holy Spirit to transform, renew, and strengthen you to become the saints the world so desperately needs.
