Status: International shipping

To our dear brothers and sisters around the globe,

We have been blown away by the emails and messages we have received from you, both from countries that neighbor us (howdy Canada and Mexico!) to countries on the other side of the world (hey y’all New Zealand and Australia!), along with many, many more countries. Each of you has not only been supportive in your excitement for Every Sacred Sunday, but you have also been understanding to the fact that our shipping is currently limited.

We want to keep you up-to-date on our efforts to be able to ship Every Sacred Sunday outside of the USA. Every Sacred Sunday contains the full Mass readings for each Sunday and Solemnity in the upcoming liturgical year — as such, these readings have very specific translation and copyright laws that govern their distribution. Global permissions are required from both the International Commission on English in the Liturgy and the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, which we have secured. Additionally, country-specific permissions are required from each country’s Conference of Catholic Bishops, who play a key role in helping ensure liturgical texts are reproduced faithfully in each country.

In response to the unexpected outpouring of support from additional countries, we hoped that during these past few weeks we would be able to obtain these country-specific permissions outside the USA. However, we regret that at this time we do not have country-specific permissions outside of the USA and we are unsure whether this will be possible for this year. A key piece of this puzzle is that (something that was a learning moment for us) not all English speaking countries use the same translation of the lectionary for Mass. This means we are navigating whether Every Sacred Sunday would need to be printed in multiple translations in order to be approved for wider distribution.

We are hopeful that, given how much we have learned about this process in this past month, that in future years we will have the background and experience to complete the necessary steps to offer Every Sacred Sunday internationally. We apologize that it is not sooner, and we thank you for your support during this first year of our new business! We hope you will follow along as we offer additional products that will ship internationally, and stay tuned for future years.

In peace,

Christie and Kassie
