After 35 beautiful days, we are finishing this first leg of our journey! From stepping off of the Camino de Santiago, jet lagged and tired, to clicking the "submit" button, and then driving to San Antonio to work a conference only to find out that you wonderful people fully funded us in just 12 short hours -- it's all been spirit-led, grace-filled, and bring-us-to-our-knees inspiring.
Today as we check our numbers one last time we see that you have helped us meet our goal 7 TIMES OVER!!! We originally wanted to raise $28,000 and with your amazing help we ended at $199,119. We have no words, just so much gratitude for this powerful reminder that our God is good and that people are HUNGRY for something bigger than themselves, which in today's world that is a truly beautiful thing.
But guess what? This is only just the beginning! We have SO MUCH MORE we want to offer you and can't wait to see where God leads this wonderful community in the upcoming months!
So what now? First off, keep an eye out for a survey from Kickstarter you will receive soon to get your shipping address -- it may end up in your spam folder! Second, we are attaching a timeline that will give you a more detailed outline of what to expect in the next few months. We are now in the exciting process of getting these books to the printer and shipped out to you, our wonderful backers of this project!
Lastly, we want to take a moment to share how much this new community built around Every Sacred Sunday means to us. To all of our dear friends -- near and far, old and new, face-to-face and screen-to-screen --- you mean the world to us and thank you for showing us the face of Christ in all that you have done. We are humbled, we are honored, we are truly blessed.
